Turnaround weeks at the Waggaman plant
Waggaman has a working chemical plant at its center, and a turnaround there multiplies the site headcount for a few intense weeks. A Waggaman turnaround order is banks of units plus handwashing stands at the break tents, serviced twice a day when the schedule needs it. We plan the Waggaman route around shift change so a truck is never in the crew bus lane.
Badging at Waggaman takes a week to sort out. Once a Waggaman driver is cleared we keep him on that route for the duration.
Contractor compounds and Waggaman laydown yards
Between turnarounds the Waggaman laydown yards still run, with fabrication, pipe storage and maintenance crews coming and going. A Waggaman compound takes two or three standard units on slab inside the fence with monthly billing, which is simpler for everyone than reordering each time a Waggaman crew rotates. Crane work changes placement. We keep a Waggaman unit outside the swing radius and off the haul road, which the site safety lead confirms before anything is set down.
River Road, levee and the Waggaman ground
Waggaman runs along the levee with soft fill behind it, and the residential blocks off River Road sit on ground that holds water under the turf. A Waggaman unit on bare soil drops a corner, so plank or shell is standard on every setting.
Heat is relentless on a Waggaman plant site with no shade at all. Summer service runs twice weekly at minimum, and the Waggaman handwashing stands get refilled at each visit. A Waggaman turnaround in August can want a second call the same day, and we build that into the schedule from the outset.
