School and campus work across Kenner
Kenner packs a lot of campuses into a small footprint, and the work on them happens in the summer window between terms. A Kenner campus job usually means a bank of units near the maintenance drive while the building restrooms are offline, with the service call timed before custodial staff arrive. We keep a Kenner bank away from the bus lane and the drop-off loop.
Term time changes everything. Once classes resume a Kenner unit has to be fenced and serviced early, and we build the route so no truck is on a Kenner campus during arrival.
Churches, halls and the Kenner weekend
Kenner church fairs, hall rentals and family parties fill the weekends, and those orders are about placement more than count. We put Kenner event units on pavement beside the hall, screened from the food line, and collect them Monday. Two smaller Kenner clusters beat one long row. A Kenner committee that tells us where the doors are gets units where people will actually use them.
Lakefront, drainage and the Kenner season
Kenner sits between Lake Pontchartrain and the river with the Duncan canal and the parish pumps holding the middle down. A hard rain stands in the low Kenner parking lots, so we place on the crown and plank anything on grass. Older Kenner subdivisions south of the interstate drain slowest, and a Kenner unit there wants pavement under it rather than turf.
Lakefront wind is a Kenner factor as well. A Kenner unit out at the lakefront gets strapped or ballasted, because an open Kenner lot gives the wind a clear run at it. Summer doubles service on any Kenner job with a crew on it.
