Storm repair work across Estelle
Estelle gets its worst weather from the south, and after a bad season the trades here work through a line of roofs, soffit, fences and gutted ceilings. An Estelle repair job is short and busy: three or four workers for a week or two, one standard unit at the drive end. We set Estelle units the morning the crew starts rather than the day the contract gets signed.
Adjusters move the schedule constantly. An Estelle homeowner who has waited months for a roof does not need a restroom delivery as the next problem, so we keep the Estelle drop simple and on time.
Fences, driveways and Estelle access
Most Estelle lots are fenced to the property line with a single drive and a carport, which leaves exactly one place a unit fits. We put an Estelle unit at the street end of the drive on plank, where the hose reaches and the homeowner can still park. Gate widths matter here. An Estelle back yard behind a four foot gate is not reachable, and we say so before the truck comes out rather than after.
Canals, pumps and the Estelle summer
Estelle drains into the parish canals running out toward Bayou Segnette, and the pumps hold the water table down rather than removing it. The ground under an Estelle yard stays damp, so a unit on bare grass drops a corner within a month and we plank every Estelle setting as a matter of course.
Heat is the other half of an Estelle summer. From June an Estelle crew on a roof drinks water all day, so we go to twice weekly service and keep the Estelle handwashing stand full.
